I'm not sure when we will be getting in there but it might be late Thursday night. I will have my people save our spots if we don't get in til late. Thats right I have people.
Hey BZ, I got your pm and will get back to you but I have to double check on an exit #. I just drive and don't worry about the #s and names. When are you guys coming down and how many boats?

Funny you say that. We were just talking about how many miles we've put on the trailer this year. We've been to the James run, Cumberland twice, Dale Hallow, Loto, up there to the big pond and a few trips here to our local lake. That's a lot of miles. She will also be headed to South Florida for a few runs this winter as well. This has been a great boating year.

I'm out thanks to a broken oil pump bracket and then loosing the belt. Think I caught it in time but not taking any chances. Motor still turning free but both are headed to Wesco. Have fun, I'll be in a bad mood this weekend thinking about tit I mean it. Sorry

BZ got Third! $750 bones. Or...$550 after he pays me the $200 he owes me! He also beat us to the first card stop, but Eric pulled a smooth one and cut in front of him so we "officially" got the card first. We didn't get to many pics, but I am sure we were probably THE most photographed boat on the run.

Congrats to BZ!!! But make that $470 b/c he also owes you RedHotSommer for the T-Shirts too. So who had the most Bud Light on board? Did the O/L stay running? No broken drives?

Everyone ran great. And Paul...I already factored in the cost of the shirts! Eric had the Black Thunder pretty much firewalled all day. Got a little hairy at the beginning with all the boat wakes in the turns. BZ got a great jump at the start and found cleaner water than us...we were actually on our side a couple times and the boat wouldn't come back on center until Eric came out of it a bit. For some reason, we couldn't turn more than 4900 rpm on the first leg of the run...but after we stopped and got the card, we turned 5200 for the rest of the day! Got back for lunch and popped the hatch, there was oil sprayed around pretty good as 3 bolts from the valve cover had broken on one motor, so we were done. Fortunately, due to the incoming rain, the organizers had us do the entire run in the morning, so the only thing we really missed was the nakedness at Harmon Creek . When the storm DID hit, we were under a pavillion and under the influence...which was REALLY good considering it hit with 60 mph gusts, a MAJOR downpour and a big temp drop. Only lasted a couple minutes, then the party was back on.
Got to meet GLH from OSO (drove his Lambo all the way from Vermont, then had a shuttle bus back into it and crack a taillight lens), PBAM, and Stu Jones from the Florida Powerboat Club. Plus, got to hang with Jeff and Brian from JBS Racing again.
