08-26-2010 11:55 AMThanks Tom, appreciate it. Terri won't let me get back into the tunnels, thinks they're too dangerous.

My first boat was a Staudacher 2.5 Stock. My second Grand Prix boat was also a Staudacher. My last GP was designed by Jamie Auld and built by Claude Bergeron. The new boat that I am building is designed by Myself and Jamie Auld...mostly Jamie...haha. Were you going to see Bobby King by chance?

Yes We were.I am sure you know Jimmy.
Here are a few photo's from last winter when we were figuring out the steering on Bobby's Auld Design Hull .
My Dad and I Wrenched on Jimmys GP Boats, Orange Crush, The Batten Boat and Roger M's GP2 which I heard Jimmy Drove At Tonawanda.
I think that We built A Skid Fin Bracket for you back in the early 90's.

Well then, you must be Gus Sevolt! Roger and Paul said you guys might show up to the race. Seeing Jimmy drive his old boat was incredible! Watching Bobby King in his first race was really neat too. It was great having the "old gang" back together again.
Bobby King in his first race in his brand new boat.

Yes, those were some great battles. He had a hell of a battle going with Jean Theoret on that fateful day as well. I was on the turn boat, in turn 1 that day. Unfortunatly, I had a front row seating to Paul's flip. Bad day at the races. I am Tom Snyder Jr. I was racing 5 litre's when your dad was racing GP. I started racing GP in 1993. My first GP was Jimmy King's "Crush", that I bought from Freddy Rodo. My next GP was Huey's old "Big Boy". Then I bought Claude Bergeron's "Max Seafood" boat, after Brian O'Connor had it as the "Gator". Now, I am slowly building a new Jamie Auld designed hull, at my shop in Waterford.
