Just wanted to post this link for anybody that hasn't heard about his passing.. It was undeniable that Jerry had a huge passion for offshore powerboats, not to mention he has probably owned more Saber's than anybody I knew of, so I thought I would go ahead & post this link here.

    Really sad news !!

I can't get the link to work, but I'd heard he had passed. I was hoping I'd heard wrong. Too bad, he'll be missed.

For those of you who are wondering, Jerry McConnell was LEOPAJM on the site. He had the red 41 Saber.

RIP. Our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

He used BRD also for Clifford, the big red dog. Very shocking, sobering and saddening news. My thoughts go to his family and many good friends.

Man I have always loved that rear shot of clifford !!

Kinda weird this thread came back up b/c I was sitting with my family in our favorite local Chinese joint a just a few hours ago and I missed a call so lss. I got a voice mail from a friend & as I had to go through a couple old ones to get to the one he just left, the very first voice I heard was Jerry's from a few months ago..

Anyways I really had no intentions of sharing that until I clicked here & seen an update.. I really hope his family is copping well..

He was a great guy, me and my wife where in Clifford during that run at Smoke with jerry and his wife and Doug from Saber. Just one of a few great days I spent with Jerry. He will be forever missed, Steve and krista.
