Popeyes and Lucas Oil-Peppers Offshore Race Teams Join Forces for Thunder On The Beach!
The legendary Stan Ware of Popeyes racing fame will be driving the Lucas Oil-Peppers cat lite for Super Boat International's race this weekend in Cocoa Beach, Florida. His Champion throttleman is Michael Stancombe, owner with dad, George of the Lucas Oil-Peppers Offshore boat.
The Popeyes boat was involved in an accident at the Michigan City, IN race on Sunday, August 8 and is undergoing a complete overhaul. George Stancombe said " The Lucas Oil-Peppers team is excited to be able to help Stan win their race August 22. The boat is dialed in to run with two world class racers".
Fans can go to www.superboat.com to check out the schedule and come meet the team in Race Village, then cheer them on along the race course Sunday.
Proud title sponsor, Secret of The Islands, www.secretoftheislands.com will be handing out free samples of their new, exciting product at the village. The team wishes to thank the La Quinta Inn Cocoa Beach for partnering with them for the event.
