Friday night at Matey's, I ended up talking to Joey Skrocki, throttleman for JBS. As they were running a skeleton crew for the weekend, he asked for our help as a potential towboat should they break and as a platform for one of their guys to shoot some pics and vids of the race. Of course I said yes, and, even though they did end up with a bit of a mechanical issue, I am somewhat thankful I did not have to tow them in! Anyway...after the post-race madness had calmed down, Michelle and I got a cockpit tour of the JBS turbine Mystic. All I can say is...UNREAL. Joe, Brian, Joey and Jeff could not have been nicer...hung out on their toterhome Saturday night and they gave us a ride to Matey's in their Rhino. Way cool for sure. Here's some pics:

I've met a few good crews over the last few years. Met the JBS crew in St. Clair a few weeks ago. First class crew and all around good people! I put them up there with Tom Abrahams crew from Reliable!!!
