Ryan - You're correct it is the same as Ian's boat, and being built in Chris Parsonage's Class One workshop - Ian will be racing in the Gulf against the other X Cat's next month, and he reckons it will be a bit faster on a lap in those conditions than his Doug Wright which is being raced by Richard George (UK) and Mark Walker (Gibraltar), so it will be interesting to see how well it goes against the Mannerfelt and the Doug Wrights - Ian has the experience and skills to win in my opinion - time will tell!
Are you going back out or does it clash with your US dates?

05-22-2010 07:03 PMIt sure looks like a cut and paste Doug Wright to me same style lines same position of steps etc etc. Some ugly changes to the bow but very very similar and if they used new tooling etc new foam plug etc or wooden would never 1. been done so quickly 2. sold so cheaply.
Its strange that he used to race a Doug wright as well.
