Never drank alcohol in my life I just think it's funny that Sean never had a Aston Martin or a Ferrari for that matter.

There was a time when anything AMG, M badged or cars with great lineage like a 911 or Corvette had a bulletproof depreciation schedule......unfortunately the newest stuff is super expensive to own out of warranty and there are too many low mileage nice cars showing up at dealers/auctions so the average used one isn't worth anything especially if it is over 5 years old and out of warranty.
HP/Performance has been a killer too.....Baddest stock ZR-1 was just over 400 HP in 1994-5, the last year of production. Now stock Corvettes are 430+ HP and handle/brake better than the baddest ZR-1 of yesterday. M3's/911's of 10 years ago don't put out the HP that the base cars (328/Boxster) do now. Heck a 911 turbo (aka supercar in 1991) only put out 310 HP and now a non turbo 911 puts out more than that, the new turbo's for 2010 are over 500 HP/AWD etc.

03-01-2010 10:13 PMThe 96-97 Turbo is commanding more money than a 2001-2003 that has more HP!
On the 2001 and newer if you change the wheels you have a pretty good looking car!
I prefer the 1994 Turbo 3.6 to the later cars (last of the rear wheel drive/air cooled turbos) but being only 355 HP the new Carrera S cars are putting out the same HP!

03-02-2010 12:37 AMI have been keeping an eye on Ford GTs for a while. They are holding strong at just below or even above MSRP for nice low mileage cars.

I have a 1997 993S (wide body) with 10,000 miles, original owner. Looks like the burgandy TT above, without the tail; silver extertior, gray leather interior. PM me if interested.
