    Also, I notice it's a short stroke engine...must turn some R's!!

(ps, I didn't read the article so maybe it's alread stated...too busy at work)
Not much different stroke than your everyday 556CI. Tall deck engine with that stroke will always turn some good rpms.

Thats what I was wondering? Who's heads are they? Maybe Merc dusted off the old ZR1 stuff and blew it up?

Sounds like a without drives MSRP?

1075 w/ dry sump #6 retails for $149K each, these can't be cheaper.

Give the website a second to fully load. Then click on the boat.

Looks like the website opens up in an hour and a half.

Here's a more realistic price! I think 265K will be engine, trans, and #8's for two engines.

If this is the real deal, then they would be smart to price it close to the 1075/#6 package, it'll create new boat sales. For instance not much has changed at cig over the last 4 years. With this new engine I think many current owners will look strongly at the product, and if pricing is realistic, it will equal sales.

supposedly should be the same OEM price as the 1200, but you get more HP and it runs on pump gas (in a lighter, smaller package).

I would assume if this thing works well, the 850/1025/1075/1200 days are numbered.

Yes. I believe the amg Cig is the first boat to have them
    installed.

Bill, I don't know which part of the boat is amg except input on design but the president of AMG just got done giving a press release standing next to the Cig.
