Everyday after school all my friends would come over and we would scrap together about 10 gallons and ski until dark. Those were the good ol days.
I could fill up my car buy a six pack and some smokes and get change from a 20. Hell I could get loaded for 2 days in a row for 20 bucks now That will get 3 beers in a bar
I'm still trying to figure out how I was able to afford to go out every night before I met my wife. It cost me a hundy every night at the bar 3K a month in beer
WOW 36K a year...OUCHSOS NINJA dancing on the boundaries of hell.

I just wasted about 10 pages listening to YOU!!!!!!
Last time we had some teenager with a big mouth come on here to "liven things up" his name was Long Duck Dong......and we all know what sort of a douche bag he turned out to be.......if you dont know him look him up.
If you dont like it you can always go start your own site with a bunch of calling you out powertripping 20 somethings......oh wait , you can just go over to Hot boat
Are you still here Long Viper.......??????

btw ive been a member here just as long as you.. i think you need to relax and stop being so uptight. if anything you should encourage fellow young boaters to come here and socialize too.
im not going to go into one of my roid rages with you... wouldnt want you start a thread to "KICK VIPER OFF"www.41apache.com

That is the impression that I get also.
While I am not trying to give him a free pass, I do not think that he threatens the well being of the site and I am not prepared to compare him to some LDD type person.
Can't blame him for missing all of the cool stuff that we did when we were kids and wanting to have fun like us.Warning: This post may contain language unsuitable for minors or math not suitable for liberal-arts majors.

12-12-2008 04:25 PMAnyone remember some of the early cable TV boxes???? 48 channels....row of 16 buttons with a switch on the side....tethered to the TV via a wire! If you pushed two buttons at the same time you could get a few special channels.
Or how about the first home video camera..... It hooked up to the VCR and weighed like 40 lbs.. lol

Please excuse my buddy "OLD guy" Doug. Its about 12 degrees F here. His toy box is covered in snow and ice. He can't boat and his wife is wearing a parka and muk luks instead of a bikini so he is probably just wound a little too tight right now
Once his house thaws and his boat comes out of hibernation and his wife starts removing layers of winter clothing, I'm sure he'll be just fine againLast edited by Airpacker; 12-12-2008 at 04:47 PM. Reason: typos...a fww of them :)

43 and have dealt with all of the above as well. very funny chit.
How about roll up windows and no air conditioning in my first two cars.
Remember getting up to change the channel on the tv?
And there were only 3 channels!
I remember when we got our first color tv.
Our first vcr had a wired remote.
Can you say Telephone cords?
the list goes on...
