Hey guys as i l@@k thru my old classic Century Powerboats book i see an ad for a Century Coronado for the 60 & 61 lineup and they were offering three different sizes In the Cadillac Crusader as they were called along with other choices of that era like Interceptor and Grey Marine that did not have as much HP .

It was Merc that supplied the marinised engines...never saw that again though
Several guys are offering marinied ones in OZ for ski boats

Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.
