2 hours left on the auction and only up to $3k. Appears to be a no reserve auction.

I am just not a fan of the deck on that. It just seems to tall on the 32'. The longer Cobra's look ok. I do love old race boats though, and I am looking for a new project. Hmmm.

Offshore Racing wasnīt designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

11-20-2009 12:53 AMBut its worth it .
I talked to the guy that raced it last . he said some HP smallblocks and XR's and the thing will do 100 min. rock solid , nothing wrong with the hull at all.
partley rigged and ready ( almost ) for power.
Needs new steering , pumps ,wiring, drives and power.
I would redo the seats and paint it .
WOULD BE LIKE NEW , READY TO GO !!!!!!!

Not me. I like the old school, but the deck is just fuggly. I was seriously considering it though. I really want to stay in a single too. I don't think it would be bad to have 30k in it if it is what you want. At least you know what you have if you completely rebuild a boat as opposed to someone elses problems.

I really dig the look of it. More of a european offshore look. I've already got two boat projects and a drag car project going... so, no Cobra for me.
$30k... I'd have $10k into it before it got to my house! Ha ha ha.
