Bill just passed away recently.
He was one of the great race drivers of that era.Light travels faster than sound....that is why some people appear bright until we hear them speak!!

On that clip, at the very tail end when you guys are coming back to the docks... there is a woman's voice in the background... saying. " now you know how good the Banana boats are"..
No arguments here.
Looked to be a great race, with some "legends" of the era.
