10-30-2009 09:44 PMRay actually told me the story on this and said the airtime was so long that water stoped coming out of the pipes and the strainer was probably blowdry. LOL
He also said it was kind of scarry but glad it went well. She landet nice and they continued to race as of nothing happend.
When he seen this picture,,,thats when he relized how much air they had .

We kept toasting bravos and went to a b-max and never broke again. We actually won 1st overall on Saturday in St Pete. Dual MSD boxes , a bunch of switches and other Phantom tricks. Yall probally know - haha. The boat was a handful but gobbled up anything you could throw at it. We had a good lead in Key West down the front straight away but I got lost and went to Miami - haha. Bill Park was a nut and talked in tongues over the intercom. I'll never forget 2001.

doesn't that extra airtime give you a few extra seconds to look around the cockpit for some clean shorts??? Look at the brite side.. those extra few seconds of airtime give me a head start

Extra seconds for what, do you clean bilges for profession ?
Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.
