Somebody Stole my IDEA!!!!!
I know of a couple of those engines available and thought about putting them on a old KW/PETE COE and do some hauling overhere...Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

Very cool. There was something similar (although a bit closer to a car size) in Hot Rod a month or two ago as well.

Awesome! You could tow your boat with your hot rod!

I hear screaming detroits in my sleep. The owner of the gravel pit here has a huge fleet of old Terex loaders and rock trucks that buzz around all day every day. Add to that the two 16-71 powered draglines that run a few hundred yards away. Hearing them on a daily basis makes a hater out of anyone, in fact since I started typing this post 3 Eucs have driven past my office.
Cool truck Brian, anymore pics?

All of the old Detroits are loud. I love the sound of one of those 2 cycle diesels spooling up. Unless it is outside your bedroom window like Tony's
