For a little while the used boats just became worth a little more.
They will be known as Neil-Built and Post-Neil.

11-27-2008 07:14 PMMaybe skip was surfing this site and saw all of Sammy's designs, figured he could get the kid for a song and decided to make a move...I mean really, didnt you see those designs..if only picasso was a boat designer.

you got that right! Neil has survived many dipsticks over the years. skip thinks he is the smartest guy in the world. if neil didn't stay on in the beginning skip would be toast. neil can go anywhere its just f'd up that he needs to. cig has long attracted the ego freak owners since don and skip is the worst. neil is a real brother. shame.

I believe people will find any reason to say one boat is worth more than another.
Lipship is worth more? Dunno.
Jupiter touched someones TopGun worth less? Definitely.Treat every situation like a dog, if you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away.

02-23-2009 11:15 PMOne more guy here who was really helped out by Neill. My boat went through Lip-ship but it was Neill who made it happen all the way. I first met him at the Miami Boat show in 03' and when I called him direct a year later he still remembered our conversation about red gelcoat bottoms. Walked me though the whole construction and took care of me when the trucking company f'd up my paint.
Then He called me 2 days before a Hurricane to arrange to get my boat out of their factory because the insurance Skip bought excluded boats that were back in the shop after being delivered to their owners. I would have never known otherwise.
I agree with the others, He was Cigarette. If it is true he got hosed out of his initial investment it is all the worse.32' Fever (Off to Syracuse) and 36"Gladiator; FORD powered
