Ok again nothing life changing but progress at the least..
I have 2 of these brand new Optima 1000's & along with the bilng-bling freshly redneck reingeneered(sp? -c'mon its late) from superman blue to shiny-classy-matchy holdowns that are pretty much ready to start mounting sometime tomorrow when I get a little spare time between the day to day..
I was getting to a point of over thinking (as I often) do & I was beginning to start questioning my engine compartment color combo's from individual components all the way to all of it as a whole.. However Its all starting to make sence again as it slowely comes to life..:coolgleamA: I posted a few oldies for a bit more of a visual..
I'm hopping the alignment tool makes it in from the delivery birdie tomorrow !! Man do I have a long list of Thank you's at the end of these scattered threads.. I believe when the day of completion actually arrives I will start a new somewhat more organized thread from start to finish with my long list of not as much rambling but pics. including the a good bit of the original build pics from its Glory Days of old !! Which I hope it honors in its own way !!

Been working a bit at home over the holiday weekend.. I loaded up the motor & hauled it the short trip to start giving the ol'e girl some clothes & dressing her up a bit.. Trying to get ready to put'er'in'da'hole
I have since managed to get a few things bolted on it & will soon give a more recent pic than the one posted that was taken saturday evening.. Also attempt short history lesson on her in the future.. She's kinda a ho.. But in a good way..

Scotty, you are sick!!!
The motor looks great!
I'm starting to see where you are pulling all the colors together.
I wasn't questioning it, but I'm no Martha Stewart, but now seeing what you're doing, it's very tasteful, and it's timeless splashes of color. Very classy, and nothing that will date itself or is a fad.
That boat is going to look incredible!!
I commend you on your work.
If you need a week to getaway and vaca, I have a spare room here in AZ - bring your tools, I'll buy the beer"Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".
