Just got mine yesterday here in Texas outside of Houston. Very nice, beautiful pix, quality mag. Just one question and I apologize if I missed it somewhere. Is this magazine directed to the overseas race circuit. All the articles except the St. Petersburg poker run were from the European and Saudi race circuits. Maybe it was just this one issue?

I think the quick answer is that Ned would like to be able to cover every event worldwide that has anything to do with performance powerboating. Reality doesn't make this possible.

The time of year and publishing schedule probably factor as much as anything. Back in March, there wasn't a whole lot going on in the states. In the upcoming issue there are articles about events from all over the world. I would guess the issue after that might have more US-based events because more is happening here right now.

That's just speculation on my part, tho... Ned decides what gets covered and what gets ink. I just shoot some of the pix.

Just got mine in Detroit today, thanks.

Great magazine! The quality is more like a coffe table book than mag. I'll have to leave it in the living room rather than the crapper with the rest of my reading material.

Ned, got my copy today. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Best quality magazine I have seen in a long time. Articles are well written and PHOTO QUALITY SUPERB, but then again, your photography has always been spectacular. It's interesting to read about powerboat racing in other parts of the world. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!!!

I know Ned doesnt post here anymore but I thought I would share the cover of this latest issue with you. This is a great photo by Jay Nichols who, along with Lori went with Ned to Grand Lake in Oklahoma to shoot Brandon Lee and the E Dock boats. From everyone of us here at H2O I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Brandon, Jim Lee, Michael Craig, Chris DeLoach, Scott Farley, Dennis Poole, Mr Mcanaw and all the others who made it come together so well.

We have now welcomed Matt Trulio, Eric Colby and Martin Sanborn to the writing ranks of the magazine and have some great plans for the future. These guys coupled with the talents of Jay Nicholls, Lori Gaines and our editor Chris Davies give us some amazing talent to draw on.

The magazine is on the printing presses next week and will be airmailed off to everyone soon after and from myself who handles all the admin stuff and the rest of our team here we hope you all enjoy this next issue.

    Sincerely,

    Rick Williams
Admin Manager - H2O Full Throttle

P.S. For anyone in the Los Angeles area, keep an eye out for Ned as he is on his way there to work with the helicopter crews on the bushfires.
So will this be the Christmas issue?

Mr Cloke - I chatted with Ned and told him about your post, and it seems its about what was expected of you.

Have gladly removed the cover and post as well as your contact details from the magazine database so you wont have to worry about when the mags arrive.

    Goodbye.

I didnt ask for any complimentary issue. I'll read my buddy's if and when he gets the first one.
Count on me to let you know if my 3 friends get #1 or #2 by Christmas.

Your edit was a good move though.

Actually we dont really care what you think Mr Cloke. It was actually amusing when you sent Ned the email TELLING him what he has to do to keep those who were complaining about their FREE subscriptions happy. And then when Ned told you thanks but no thanks, you threw your toys out of the cot and posted derogatory comments about the mag on here.

But as Ned said, it was to be expected of you. Easy to see why he doesnt post here anymore and I think I will join him. No point in trying to do the right thing for people here.

You have a great day and to the Moderators feel free to do what you wish with this thread as no one from H2O will be posting again. Ned made the right choice before.

    Rick

Next time Ned gives you permission to post please feel free.
You are correct I TOLD him he had to deliver the magazine.

Get your facts straight though. Never said anything derogatory about the magazine. I know you have tied up a great photographer and I hear the pics are awesome.
