Hopefully all the time I spent on the back of the boat sanding down the high spots and filling the lows will pay off and help me squeek out some better numbers

yea . . . try an limit the length of time spent on the tech line while gel is in gun . . .
Thats actually a pretty important step that is often overlooked. What happens is the gel left on the inside of the cup after you run the cup dry is still catalyzed and will continue to kick. If you add fresh gel to that the small amount of already catalyzed gel left in the cup will mix in and cause little blobs to form in the fresh gel and will really screw chit up.Last edited by glassdave; 03-17-2009 at 09:24 PM.
