yep, those houses up in post 2 are pretty much toast. They really weren't that nice to begin with. heres a quote
"In May, 2008, Erie Township trustees were taking bids from contractors to raze or dismantle cabins and storage sheds that were built without governmental approval. A trust directed by Keith Fifer began a building project in early 2002. Three cabins and a pair of storage sheds were constructed before a Monroe County Circuit judge issued a stop order. The court interceded in the project after Mr. Fifer and Chris Bodi, his partner in the development, failed to secure building permits and provide county officials with a plan to treat sewage generated from the business."

It is a pretty cool island though, the actual lighthouse is pretty old and there is a bunch of big stone blocks that protect the east side of the island. Their covered with old names and dates carved in them, some pretty elaborate and date back into the 1800's if i remember correctly.Last edited by glassdave; 03-10-2009 at 06:01 PM.

frigin the stuff online is almost scarey... I was googling an address for directions today and the "street view" that came up was incredible, so I googled my address, street veiw of the from of my house and was able to "navigate" around the side of my house and look at the boats behind my house (in my back yard)...it's my frigging back yard....why can strangers walk around it online and look in my windows????????????
