Ok guys, after reading Dee's thread on Vinny's 170mph run in the 32 Skater, I thought it would be fun to start a thread on the fastest people have gone on a boat.
You can put how fast you have driven/throttled and or been a passenger and what boat(s) it was in.
No B.S.!
My Stats:
Fastest Driving: 105 (38 Donzi ZrComp)
Fastest Passenger: 175 (40' Skater "Jet Set")
Honorable Mentions: 140+ (36 and 43 Nor-Tech Cats)
Results 1 to 20 of 174

Despite being a really older post! I'll guess Hondo pickle folk. Boat builder near me has bare hulls for those.... Thinking about one or their TX-19 tunnel for some river small calm lake fun.
I'm also addicted to classic jets and V-drives!!!!
My recently sold last season boat 19' Eliminator Daytona 103 mph GPS............

197 in a top fuel hydro that later ran 206....didn't want no more after that....just tested at LOTO in the 170's but couldn't get it to accelerate hard enough in the mile to get it there where it would count!!!!! That was in a Skater!!!
God forgives.....The 1% doesn't!!!!!!

09-18-2009 02:33 PMMartin Sanborn and I were testing in Key West between races in '98. We went out and turned east into them. The wind was blowing so hard the water was covered with foam. I will be 100 years old and still not forget. I get excited just typing about it. We were running across them and saw a set coming we could not see over. We cut the tops off the big one and headed back in. The following day race day the wind had calmed. Thankfully.

09-18-2009 02:53 PMVee Hull: 80's @ Michigan City, in Caveman with Mikey. Ride was pretty smooth, for my 1st ride on the Great Lakes.
Cat: 165 MPH @ Lake Cumberland, during the Poker Run last Saturday, on Ron's 50 FT Skater, Flight Club. Have a pic of the GPS, albeit a bit out of focus But, do have some kick a$$ video & photos, while running above 150
