Woman who stripped to avoid arrest going to jail

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) - A 36-year-old Wisconsin woman who stripped in front of her children in a drunken attempt to avoid a shoplifting arrest is going to jail.
As part of a plea agreement, Julia E. Laack of Sheboygan pleaded no contest to three charges including retail theft. The Sheboygan Press says she was sentenced Thursday to six months in jail.
Prosecutors say Laack stole beef jerky and a lighter from a convenience store in October. They say when police went to her home she began screaming at three children and told a teenager the incident was his fault.
Laack then stripped to her underwear and told officers they couldn't arrest her because she would be naked.
A message The Associated Press left with her lawyer wasn't immediately returned Saturday.

I still consider WI and Minnesota part of Canada - you all have a much better sense of humor, and I love the funny accent.

Can you relate to Trailer Park Boys humor??
Coming from Toledo, I was only a short drive to the Windsor Ballet, And I have a few friends dispersed across the nation that are "semi-Canadian"also.
Some of my best friends.

Luckly no I dont have the accent yet, Just moved up here 2 years ago from Cleveland.... But, I find myself saying... "da boooooat" instead of "the boat". Darn uppers....

Thats funny.... I was thinking it must be some kind of show/band, then I read what was in parenthasis.... didnt thought of that how you worded it...
