I was thinking about building a stainless swim platform for each side of the transom, Probably use 1 inch tubing, but how thick of Stainless should i use. Each platform will be about 24 inches by 20 with 2 supports on the lower side and maybe an inch or so spacing between the tubes.

10-13-2010 12:31 AM16ga tubing should be sufficient but you may want to go bigger than 1" so it is easier on your feet
