Ron Potter built 540 dyno numbers!
    #1
Ron dynoed my new engine yesterday... I am VERY happy with the results! 695 horse at 5600 rpm, 695 torque at 4950... at 4000 rpm she is making 645 torque and it climbs from there... 500 efi intake, Merlin 345 heads, all massaged by Ron, 525 throttle body, BIG solid roller cam... I am very impressed with the rpm range and torque curve, i figured it was going to be very high strung and nowhere near as torquey. I am looking for 100 mph out of my boat now...cant wait for Key West, as this beast ought to be like getting shot out of a slingshot from cruise to WFO!

Thanks, I waffled back and forth on the builder but have learned time and again, spend the long dollar and go with the best.

Hoping to make the FMO run next weekend, as long as we dont have any issues with the new exhaust it SHOULD happen.
