Helpern had the Hemi-Chevy Combos in his Cobra Race shop back in the late 70's we were there talking about some contract work.
The drive looks like an effort to make another surface drive but who knows the gain, when you add up the gear loss after moving the transmission output shaft? each time there is a penalty paid.Last edited by Steve 1; 03-15-2010 at 12:15 PM.

Looks like it's a duo prop drive, I think that's the outer shaft only.. I like the little tiny oil pan under that monster.

looks like an 8-71 blower? Pretty cool EFI and the rest of the motor to only have an 8-71......

I doubt the motor and drive go together. The motor looks like a drag race setup with nitrous.

That is the new Arias LS hemi heads/BDS blower with EFI on a 468 cid smallblock.
The drive is the (WDP) dual prop but in its bpm type setup as a single shaft/trim only. It will have the skeg removed and be center rudder.
We have one less set of gears compared to a #6 and they are all spur so the efficiency is MUCH better and everything is drysump. That is including the offset box.
Depending on the hull configuration I would remove the offset box and just run straight into the drive. The offset box is from one of our inline packages or a cat style installation.

Steve, Bellows. I looked at the ball but it has to be very precise with the gimbal. Pain to assemble but nicer seal.
Chris, We make those to set the engine where it fits the best then you put the drive where it needs to be and the offset box does the rest. We went up 5.5 and down 4.5 and over 1.25 on a project recently... and mirrored it on the other side...
The ones in the pic are 13.5 offset and FNR. We make them all different ways.
The v16 is easy...
