Plan is to put a set of 383's in the engine room, but first it had to be stripped, cleaned, and re-painted.
First I stripped the engine compartment, and ended up with a pile of parts.

Sorry, I guess with that engine box it could have...

Yes, they are Alphas. I thought the steering tube was interesting as well. Someone built that standoff, and as far as I can tell it was factory. I can't tell where the transom has been patched.
