39th Annual Salmon River Jet Boat Races Now Two Weeks Away

RIGGINS, ID - Start your engines. The 39th annual Salmon River Jet Boat Races are set to return April 14, 15 & 16, 2023 in Riggins, ID!

Things will kick off Friday afternoon with a Boat Show and Shine at Riggins City Park beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Races will start Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. MT/9:00 a.m. PT. After a full day of racing, a fireworks show held at City Park will close the night off. The show will start at dusk.

More racing will follow Sunday, once again beginning at 10:00 a.m. MT/9:00 a.m. PT. Following races on Sunday, the Awards Presentation will be held at the Riggins Community Center.

Time Zone Bridge - On the bridge, in the rocks or on the beach. Restrooms available.

Tight Squeeze Rapid - Along the highway north of the Time Zone Bridge. Restrooms available.

Riggins City Park - Grass lawn. Restrooms & picnic tables available.

Short Bar - Mixed grass areas and some beaches. Restrooms available.

Salmon Rapids Lodge Lawn - Grass areas, beach & rocks. Restrooms available.
