A very good idea. I had one snap going around a corner about 5 years ago. Replaced all 6 just to be safe. Cheap and fairly easy.
It's that salt water rust crap. You should move to Michigan. Supposed to get up to 60 tomorrow (maybe)....
One side is done ...just got to tape and paint .

Just got the springs off the Port side....they both were broken. Just Ospho'd the sh*t out of the rest of the parts.

You know if you finish that trailer, you'll have to tow the boat somewhere, right? Or did you not think of that?

Without the hat I sound like Major Winchester.
And finished, just gotta replace the bearing on the front axle.
