A photo of Ohio Steel I downloaded a while ago. I carry it around with me. Awesome looking boat!
He died last yr in Dec....R.I.P
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. He was sure fun to read about, when he was chasing & setting all of those records. One of my favorite pictures, is the ad Fountain ran years ago with INXS, Dragon Lady, & Ohio Steel, all trimmed & hauling ass.
Rest in peace, to the tune of a BBC running dry Stellings. :cheers2:
I did not know John Rebhan had died- sorry to hear this - my last year of filming - I worked for him - it was challenging to say the least- great family too- his ex and Eric-

What ever happened to that boat in post #22? Wasnt it for sale not too long ago?? What a great lookin boat....
Wasnt the 45' sitting in a barn somewhere? Thought there was some legal nonsense going on with it.
I remember seeing it for sale in the midwest a year or two ago. Before that it was at Dick Simon in SoCal (Stinson probably knows this better) in 2000 - 2002 time frame.
It's a cool looking boat, but I'd hear some pretty unflattering comments about its overall condition. Rumor only, so take it as you will.

Is it true that the Ohio Steel Fountain never won a national title?
