So who is going this year? It's a little early to figure out the weather, but there's been some good weather the last few years.

LOTO ?
Hardy Dam, Muskegon River, Newaygo Township, Michigan...
About 60 miles from here.
Always the weekend after Labor Day......
Kind of the Official, "End of Summer" boating event up here.....
Hardy dam is the third largest earthen-filled dam in the world, the largest east of the Mississippi River, whose backwaters form Michigan's largest inland lake with over 50 miles of shoreline.
It been a few years for me:(
What a mix of rides there.
Kinda scary how hard the parying is though. Wife freaks right out. Plenty of accidents over the years.
That 'toon throwing the rooster looks like 1/2 my neighbors now. Other 1/2 sport roll cage wakeboard rigs.
I'll be there from wed night - monday.always a great time the few days before and the sunday night you could see some great racing..
It is always a fun weekend, but the partying has gotten crazy.
We pretty much stay away from the cove on Saturday and just float to the outside of it at the most. Have spent some time back in there and the boats just get trashed. Too many people that could care less about your stuff.
I enjoy seeing the variety of boats that show up and seeing a lot of friends that I have met over the years up there.
No I did not Artie. Resend it and we'll figure it out. You can send to ratickle@seriousoffshore.com, or my home email if you have it. You probably do.
I was up at Ben's today picking up the Marlin with the new XR/IMCO shorty on it. Mr. Gadgets was there dynoing his motor. It looked and sounded sweet.
I now have to find a different prop. Runing a loaner now to see what it will need. The 26 I had on there is the small solid hub.
Heading up tonight after work.Sounds like theres already a good amount of boats up there.Seeya this weekend
paul are you heading up there ??

He still have his Checkmate?
Whats he got going for motor now?
After reading about multiple tragedies in Havasu over the holiday weekend, I was just scared $hi+less. CRAZY bunch of deathes and accidents there.
EVERYONE BE SAFE @ HARDY. I sure do not want to hear about anything nearly as sad from up there:(
[QUOTE=rschap1;560373] Yep, still has the Checkmate....
His Big Block Chevy with the injection system he's been working on...
Most of the stuff on Havasu was odd. The one boat had to of broken steering or something to do what it did.... The lady at the sandbar I don't understand. I haven't talked with my friends out there yet..... The guy jumping off the rock into the river, I've watched them, it's not something to do when you're blitzed.....
I was up at Ben's a while ago. Looks as if they are going up tomorrow with Wicked Won, the Fountain, and the Checkmate with the #6/Earhart:eek: engine if they get it done. They are getting close........:sifone:
