West Michigan Offshore is inviting you to be in the middle of the high-performance powerboat action aboard the Aquastar on Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 am.

The Aquastar, Muskegon Lake’s sightseeing fun ship, will take a Make-A-Wish Cruise on Saturday, as riders donate for a ride on Muskegon Lake and out to Lake Michigan. Be a part of the Parade of Power high-performance boat parade.

Watch as the powerboats take off on the Poker Run.

Join the Grand Valley Dance Team aboard the Aquastar.

The Aquastar has a scheduled departure time of 11:30 am, and an approximate arrival back around 1:30 pm. With a maximum of 150 people allowed, get in line early, make a donation to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation, and get a free ticket.

The Aquastar will be leaving from their Mart Dock location. Plans are to wait for the Powerboats to arrive at the Muskegon Channel entrance at 12 noon. The Aquastar, and the 50 Searay Flag/Photography Boat, will lead the Parade of Power out the channel to Lake Michigan. Once on Lake Michigan, the Aquastar will travel North for approximately 1/4 mile while the powerboats will wait in the Milling area at the mouth of the channel. The boats will then fly by for photo opportunities on the way up to White Lake.

This is a great opportunity to donate to a great cause, and get a close-up view of the action with many of your friends. See you there!

Mart Dock Ramp opens at 8:00 am
Captains Meeting starts at 10:00 am located in the LST 393 Ship
Gathering of the Fleet will be from 11:30 to 12 noon on Muskegon Lake near Shoreline Inn. Warm-up run down Muskegon Lake will start at noon.

Poker Run details will be explained at the Captain's meeting.

Poker Chip Turn-in and Poker Card Hands are drawn from 4:30 to 6 pm at one of two locations. Check in with the GVSU Dance Team to redeem your chips at one of these 2 places -
Mart Dock Tiki Bar - Located near Mart Dock Ramp
Great Lakes Marina - Captains Quarters located at the Fuel Dock Area.

MPW Saturday Celebration Supper and Awards Event. 6:30 - 9pm
Will be held at Great Lakes Marina. This event will be catered by Beachwood Catering and dinner includes BBQ Chicken, Brats, Hotdogs, Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, and dip. Oberon and Bud Light will be served along with wine and water. Ticket deadline was last week, but non-ticket-holders grab some beverages and food and join the fun.

A reminder that there is road construction at the entrance to Great Lakes Marina, so you are encouraged to not bring your trailer by land. Trailers can be left at the Mart Dock as needed. Coming by boat, check for the best tie-up spaces with GLM Fuel Dock staff. If the gate is locked the code is 2628. Additional parking is located near the entrance in the Lakeside district if needed.

Dangerous Wave Condition Plan:
In the event that there are dangerous conditions on Lake Michigan on Saturday, poker checkpoints will be switched and 2 added on Muskegon Lake to complete the 5 checkpoint poker run.

Poker Run Rain-Out Plan:
We will still meet at the LST-393 for the captains meeting at 10 am. If the Poker Run is cancelled due to weather conditions still plan on attending the MPW Party to be held at Great Lakes Marina on Saturday, June 15. Doors will open at 4:30 pm and go till 9 pm, with supper served just after 6:30 pm.
