We are under sworn secrecy to the performance numbers, but it was just an initial shakedown so top speed was not a consideration. Handling, time to plane with drives in versus drives at neutral. No tabs to plane, quartering seas handling, cornering capabilities, and just reviewing a new boat bottom design for idiosyncrasies was the day’s agenda.
The boat passed all of its tests with flying colors. On top of looking really good sitting on the water.
Cornering, acceleration, cross wakes, and time to plane were all excellent. Not once was a tab required to put the boat on plane, and the cornering felt more like a conventional Vee than a multiple stepped bottom boat.
The interior, with the cabin accent lighting on, also looks sweet.
Stay tuned as we add more pics and information. Can’t wait for the next water tests. Rough water and top speed seems like a good plan to me.
