The first link supports an upcoming movie. The fact it's owned by SONY Pictures kinda gives it away...

Second link didn't come through for me, but I'm guessing it has to do with a few thousand $250 checks that were sent to inmates across the country. Like it or not and due to the timing between eligibility criteria and checks being cut, some are actually entitled to the money.
