Nice Pete, really nice.

I tried to talk Terri into one of these so my lense would be bigger than your lens. She's not buying into my reasoning though.....

Was there any damage to your boat? I've watched the vid and seen the pics and haven't seen any yet.

And that would look real good on your wall. But as long as it's there they'll probably never let you race anything but a Geico boat........:sifone:

JS- 9 suffered minimal damage. Neither boat was drivable. Scotty' bs quick reaction saved those guys lives.

I'm only making light of it because everyone is OK... But it's kind of funny that the dude had his hand on his head right before the impact. That would be a good "caption" contest photo!!!

"Ohhh, this is going to leave a mark"!!!:ack2:

I want a ride in one those Jersey Speed Skiffs. Looks likle fun "on the edge."

I was driving my 15' Boston Whaler everyday this past week while on vacation in Cape May like that speed skiff. All in fun, wrenched every last ounce of performance out the Whaler I could.

Those pictures are great.

What did you use to take a picture of the camera? Just kidding.

As much as people think it's the equipment, the photographer does all the work. I could have the best equipment in the world, but my pictures still would not be as good as yours.

High Rez in addition to the lense is important but if you have enough megapixels you can basically zoom in as close as you want with a photo editor without distoring the image! It ain't like the old days!

Case in point, my avitar is cropped and was taken from about a mile or two away. ;)

Anyway, I still can't believe what happened and great sequence!

Superficial damage to the hull but the running gear caught hell, prop, shaft, thrust bearing and mount all totaled.Chain coupling split on the crankshaft. But I'm not complaining it was fun watching driven to the max.

Nice Job
