Like a good Democrat, Tom Cable let's the negative-image story fester for a few days. . . then tries to disclaim it.

"Raiders' Cable denies reports of hitting aide"

So now that everyone thinks he sucker-punched an aide, he wants to just state it didn't happen that way. Burden of proof is on him, the aide is winning the court of public opinion.

It is safe to say the Raiders and they ridiculous image will continue until Al Davis is gone. Maybe his next trick will be to resurrect OJ's career. Or start a prison league and rehire his old players
