Rat, you goona shoehorn one of Tylers nascar smallblocks into a bat boat and go for the sound barrier??That would be worth seeing! I just hope there is more big iron this year over last year. You can watch only so many pontoon boats go by without losing interest.

I wouldn't mind making a trip down there this year. Anyone from MI going?

I like pontoon boats and don't mind seeing a few run in the shootout. However, I would like to see the big iron run more frequently than it did last year on Saturday.

Working on it. A press release inviting the Platinum Powerboat Club members and supporters will be going out within the next day or two. We should get a few more big guns! I know that 7 of the members are going right now. All big ctas!

FUEL for SHOOT-OUT at PIER 31.

Pier 31 is taking orders for some 110 & 116 fuel. If you need to make arrangements for some, contact them at 573-873-5283 or www.marinerpier31.com . Pier 31 is located very close to the shutdown area of the Shoot-Out. With their wavebreaks, it makes it nice when refueling.
