I need to get a carb. for a 1994, Merc 454 Mag. 4 Barrel, mechanical choke. (not electric) Don't know what make, but the one I got won't allow fuel into the system. Float stuck??
To rebuild it's over $125, so either I find a good used one or get new.
Help.
Thx

If I knew I'll tell you, but I'm sure as long as the bolt patterns fit.. Holley, Weber. Rotchester or ? would work ok.

I would look for a Holley 750cfm, but you will have to change how the throttle cable connects for about another $50. The stock carb on a 1994 454mag is a 750cfm Weber. You could just replace it with an Edelbrock Marine 750cfm. They are basically the same.

You can buy a brand new marine Eddy from summit for $325. I just put one a buddies boat. Direct bolt on and tuning worked right out of the box.

I'm taking the old one apart and rebuilding it. (sort of)
