Marine is deeply touched by joining the many others whose unwavering dedication and compassion have fulfilled so many children’s wishes!"

Included in the weekend of events: Thursday night, Joy Schou and Kenny Dean, host a VIP Captain's appreciation dinner (RSVP required), Friday Day, boater participants give charity rides to the Make A Wish children and their families, Friday night, the Platinum Powerboat Club is hosting a live auction, giving 100% of ALL proceeds to the Make A Wish Foundation of Western and Central North Carolina. On Saturday, nationally known comedian Chris Wiles is featured at Saturday evening's 5 Star Awards Banquet. This is a great weekend that has the entire family in mind, that comes complete with a lot of awesome happenings that you DON'T want to miss!!

Event Cost


*Platinum Boat Registration fee- $295.00 (including all reasonable fee's associated with your vessel for participation in Lake Norman, Puttin on the Wish Extravaganza Event) Due upon registration

*Platinum Experience-- $725.00 (1 person - includes 2 night accommodations for July 31 and August 1 at the hosting Marriott hotel, all 5 star dining and receptions, live entertainment, awards banquet (featuring nationally known comedian Chris Wiles) and 1 Limited Edition event T-shirt

*Platinum Experience-II--$395.00 (1 person - includes all 5 Star dining and receptions, live entertainment awards banquet (featuring nationally know comedian Chris Wiles) and 1 Limited Edition event T-shirt

*Participation in the Puttin' on the Wish charity ride isn't necessary, but very much encouraged and appreciated. Last year 87 "Make A Wish" children and families were introduced to our passion through rides of a life time. This year we are anticipating a record number of Make A Wish families. Platinum Powerboat Club.......Granting wishes 1 event at a time!!


Platinum Powerboat Club, the "Club with a Heart" wants to extend an extra special appreciation and thank you, to ALL of those who have contributed to the live auction. It's because of you and your continued participation that we are able to grant the wishes we do, 1 event at a time!!

If you are NOT able to attend this 1st Class 5 Star Weekend event due to other obligations, and would still like to show your support, we are always looking for additional live auction items to add to our already incredible list of items for 2009. These items do not have to be in direct connection with your business or company. You can purchase "nationally" recognized restaurant or spa certificates, movie passes, theme parks tickets, weekend get-aways, gift baskets of assorted items, etc. We will put YOUR business or personal name as the "sponsoring" individual(s).
