That is cool. When I was young (5-8), my family was at PIB. We saw a water spout.We were in a 26ft CC Constellation. After that my dad taught us kids to read the trees and water line ridges, because we had a small paddle boat we were always in. (Made money buying ice for the diffrent boats and paddling it back to them..)

I found out about water spouts on Lake Erie on a poker run about 10 years ago (F2 races and poker run the same or following weekend).

Never heard of them before and was like WTF. 43 Black Thunder was not nearly enough boat that day..
