Just curious, I have a motor and am looking for a hull to put it in. What is the smallest or largest Apache with a single sterndrive engine if there even is such an animal? If there is a single engine hull out there how does it ride and with what power? Was thinking of a Bravo set up or a #3 drive. I just dont know yet.
Thanks!:biggrinjester:

there was a 28 Cherokee for sale on boattrader a while back setup for a single but it had a big blower motor in it. It was an old race boat. It was phucking sick. White with yellow/purple interior.

There where only 2 28's built with a single motor setup, both are pictured above. I would like to see one done with a big motor and a #6 drive.
Must own all cool 28s.
Don't you have some motors needing built? Get that project done first. Then move on to project #2.

Are you sure that the 28 Cherokee was a 28 brave because the 28 brave is made from the old molds from Apache and the Cherokee is made here in Mich ? I have to say that there just might be a boat company called SOUIX out there , just for the pure fact that anything with a indian name on it sells .:rofl::rofl::rofl: But.............................. i could be wrong

All this talk and no one mentioned they used to make a 21. Very similar to a 21 Superboat or a 21 Shadow. It has a small pad.

How did that race boat run with the single?
What kind of speed?
What did it weigh?
I have a 28 Pantera race boat, similar. Love that Cherokee with the blower motor.

Ron still has his! I wish I could take it off his hands, it needs a refab... he wants too much for it though. Pretty much needs everything.
Sacred Ground has his 21 for sale too, saw it a couple of weeks ago in OC, looked cool.
