Analysts are saying it's peaked and will be heading back down towards $2 very soon. It's a pretty common marketplace manipulation- it goes up quick and back down more slowly. That gives everyone a nice profit spike.

It's funny that Obama wants to control all the private business in the U.S. But turns a blind eye to criminal commodities price manipulation. He should be "running" this one.

Yah, burns my ass... There are oil wells pumping right now on my street. I saw 8 fully loaded oil tankers offshore on my ride into work today... Yet, I'd bet I'm paying more per gallon than nearly every one else on this board.

Oil will trade inversely to the USDollar these days. Just as gold is a safe haven for inflation, oil hedges a weak dollar. It's the same thing that happened last year and has zilch to do with actual supply and demand.

Go long energy. If ECB drops rates, might be a short-term USD spike/oil drop but long term USD outlook is bearish until Obama/Dems stop borrowing.

Sledge is on it.... It's all BS.... it's market manipulation again....

Goldman Sach's predicted $90 by the end of the year....

People still don't have $$$, world economy is flat...demand is down and will be thru next year.

Sorry if I came off wrong- I'm 100% with ya and it is all BS; just pointing out it could be worse and let's just hope it doesn't get to that point again.

Then again with the I (inflation) word being tossed around- stock up now!
