This was the boat I grew up on, I have no/limited information on it. I was 12 when my father passed away and my b1tch of a stepmother sold it. From memory I believe it was powered by a BBC/Merc with a TRS drive. It only did about 58 water pickup/loran speed. I was rumored about it being an early 80's Bayliner Cobra Offshore. 23-25ft? Can this be confirmed? I know its not a "performance boat" but it has great sentimental value to me. Thanks.

This is the only picture I have of it

The ad says 22 foot. They were sold as a 24'. The NADA book lists them as a 24, but I have found nothing yet which shows the actual specs other than 24' by 8'.

It does look like they were offered with the big block option.

Anyway, It is a Bayliner 2350 Cobra Offshore.

Thanks Rat, Ive been trying to buy it for personal reasons. I found out it was down in Myrtle beach, on the ICW, just sitting on a lift. Used twice a year. The guy wont sell it or give me any info on it.

Buy the one in Jacksonville and trade him......:sifone:

I think Maryland Mark has some contacts down there.

If anyone is down that way, I found the last know address. 328 Waterside Dr, Myrtle Beach, SC

Just want to know if its still there before I try to even bother with any further contact.

Ironically, the guy who bought it was my fathers boss (my own uncles fathers) at the time of the accident. The family doesn't even talk with him. Hes the arrogant type.

I realize this is an old post but incase you check back... I have one of these. They were built only in 1981 and 1982 in Arlington WA. According to bayliner, it was a small run, less than 50 built. Mine had a complete deck off structural, mechanical, and cosmetic restoration in 1994 done by a guy who builds unlimited hydros. While they are not a performance boat mine runs just under 60 mph, and eats up the puget sound chop beautifully. Love it.

I own one myself. Color scheme same as original post. Has 260hp Mercruiser. Mine will only get about 47mph. Has less than smooth bottom paint...Runs on Lake Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Really like this boat
