I installed new oil cooler do I need to prime before starting ? or will the oil pump fill it?

While the oil pump is filling all those lines with oil, it's feeding air to your bearings. Pull the dirstributor and run the pre-luber. Plusd you get the added benefit of doing a lea check.

It is also easy to just fill your cooler up to your thermostat (before you prime), Heck you can even prefill your lines. :)

Both engines have been started, run in , Changed oil, fillters and charged filters, just installed new coolers..Motors are in the boat.
