Just got home from Tyler's place with my new blown 509. Nice little tune up he put on it. Well worth hauling it a mere 4 hrs and dealing with two sets of border dummies to get the results which just happened to be way better than I had hoped for.

Yo Wallin, beat ya :)

edlebrock 6155 marine with just an exhaust port clean up Thomas.

It topped out at 7 pounds

not really rat. i only want to spin it to 6 in the boat but the cam should have been just about all done at 6 anyways.

That's what I was wondering. On my 540's, they fall on their face at 6030.

Was there any place on the bottom of the curve where your torque was low at all? On your sheet, the first one with a magnifyer:), it is still real good at the very bottom of the sheet.

What's the A/F Left and Right? They differ quite a bit so which one is the correct one?

My guess is they were measuring at two different places in the box. You'll have to get Airpacker back on here to answer that one.

the left one is correct. one of tylers headers had a leaky flange and it was skewing the af ratio on that side.

gonna try to stay with my BH drive for now Doug. Will need a gentle hand but I want to try it. Steve Rickets is swapping it to 136 gears and full freshen as we speak so ........................

Ah ok that's interesting! (It said 355Dart on the dyno sheet, that's why I asked) Do you know the timing and cam numbers? My cam unfortunately still makes power at 6500.

Ok thanks! I burned a piston at my first test run because of lack of some fuel and a non working intercooler water pickup. The motor's back in the boat with a new pickup with a completely different design. Now all I need is a couple props to test...

That doesn't surprise me! Sean is a perfectionist.

Never lets his butt crack show when he's wiping down the deck of my boat.:26:

Great job buddy.
Make sure there are a couple of extra drives around for the summer.
No use building that and going 3/4 throttle all summer.
