Had to share these photos of Mike Stancomb, enjoying the feel of Dean Loucks' Street Legal Indy Car at a party at Pepper's Bar--you know he was dying to hit the streets!
Then, it was quite a surprise seeing Mike and George dressed to the nines for the CARA Charities Fashion Show (an annual fund raiser that Ellen Greenleaf chairs--what a dynamo that woman is!) Some change from race shirts and shorts--these guys clean up very well and are pictured with Dean and Cody Unser, Al Unser Jr.'s daughter who will be at the OSS Sunny Isles race next month.
Paul Ray, President of Ilmor Marine was also on site in his Honda uniform--here at Gasoline Alley with PacWest Racing team owner, Bruce McCaw. His team had a banner year in 1997...
