What can you guys tell me about an 81 38' performer? HIN # PER380001M80
Seems like they were made in FL if I remember right. I am considering going to take a look at one for another project, but I don't know anything about them. One boat in pieces in the garage isn't enough for me. :sifone:

Yeah, I know, but the title does say 81 for the year. I am assuming it was titled in 81 vs 80 or something. It is a little contradictory.
I don't have any good pics really. Just one with a cover on it.

Here is a shot from the new book that HORBA is doing....Blue Water Warriors.

Bill Elswick (Longshot Fame) owned Performer for a while in the 70's, down on SE 15th St in Fort Lauderdale. When he first stepped up to Open class, he used this boat as his entry.

Does something look familiar to you ? Think of what a 40 foot Cigarette looks like and you have it.....this is a 36 footer.

Short French Canadian Guy named Laval (still is my boss) We both worked for performer up till the end, around 1993.
