Today's the day. We officially launch our long-awaited classifieds- the SeriousOffshore Marketplace.
After many months of development and testing it's completed. Having said that, and just like when we launced this forum we'll continue to make changes and modifications as we find the need. And your input is greatly encouraged.

Right this moment, you're going to find an empty shell. But as I write this, we're beginning the distribution of coupons to thousands of classified advertisers in other places. These coupons will alow them to place a free basic classifed on our site.
If you have items for sale, you can take advantage of this offer as well. If you send an e-mail to ratickle@seriousoffshore.com, we'll be happy to send coupons to all that ask for them.
This has been a long time coming. For months now I've gotten daily inquiries as to when we'd have this up and running. But rather than stick some one-size-fits-all package in, we wanted to do something that would work well with our needs. We hope you like what we've done.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the people who have been responsible for making this happen. Ratickle (Paul) has taken on the job of Admin, backed up by Fund Razor (John) who has done a fantastic job of moderating our Swap section. Our Board, Admins and Mods have put many hours into designing what I think is the most functional classifieds system in the marine world- and we'll continue to add and improve on it as we go along.
I'll apologize in advance for any bumps we may encounter. We launced this site with very few hiccups. We have our fingers crossed that the same will happen with the marketplace.
Thanks again to all that have made this possible and to our friends that make up the membership here. Our defining vision when starting Serious was that software only makes the place a possibility, it's the people that make it a community. Thanks for being here.
