AMF/Miss GEICO Racing is pleased to announce that it has obtained 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status for United We Race, Inc®. It has been a long term goal of John Haggin to combine offshore racing with NASCAR and NHRA and to join together these racing organizations in support of our U.S. veterans.

“I am thrilled that we have been able to achieve tax exempt status so that all contributions made to United We Race® are tax deductible”, said John Haggin when he learned of this highly coveted exempt status. “If you enjoy racing, please join AMF/Miss GEICO in helping to support our veterans. With the support of GEICO and its Powersports division, United We Race® should be able to grow quickly”.

This year AMF/Miss GEICO and John Haggin will contribute all its winnings to United We Race®.

Uh Oh Marc. Do I smell competition for our little 501(c) 3 in Tampa? Seriously, congrats and make it big. Charities need all the money they can get.

How can we make donations in the name of John Begovich's name?

How can we make donations in the name of John Begovich's name?

Great idea.

I operate a non-profit, so I am guessing that same as we do:

You should be able to make a check out in the name of the charity, enclosed a note explaining that this is a memorial gift in honor of John Begovich and mail it to the charity, or Mr. Haggin's office, if that is the case. Also make sure that they have your info so that they can generate an acknowledgement letter to you for taxes, and ask that they send a note to the family that a donation was made in John's memory. They won't share the amount of the gift to the family, just the donor name.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, May 15th from 5pm-9pm and Saturday, May 16th from 10am to 12 pm at Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL with reception to follow.
