I started a thread about torture. We had a good dialogue going, but it went a little downhill. We will have more discussions from time to time, but need to keep it on a higher level.

Don't ban me, bro.

Don't worry about it! There is nothing better than a good discussion, what we can't have is people attacking each other.

Carry on!!:)

You have absolutely no reason to apologize. It was a good thread with perfectly good debate at the beginning. It was however, a sensitive subject, that naturally gets emotions flared up. Of course, it ended up getting personal and began spiraling out of control; gotta draw the line eventually.

You were fine. A healthy debate on issues, without personal attacks. is a good thing in all aspects of life. In every business I've run, my opening review is I do not want yes men. If I wanted yes men, I onviously think I'm so smart I don't need you.

A couple got personal and attacked each other instead of debating the message.

Rule #1 to live by:

Disagree with the post, not the poster!:)

As I said, you were fine.

Word Up!!! That was at one of my infamous Thursday night parties at The Clevelander during the Miami Boat Show week. Best party of the week!!! :cheers2: The funniest part of that night was that Cat was banned from OSO and showed up. We let him in after he waited for a few hours. Even though I was wearing a shirt that said "OldSchool" on it and it had a picture of my boat.....I had found a nametag at that point that said "C-Spray" and had it on. So, Cat thought that I ws Chuck, he even tried to get me into an investment plan that he knew of. I told him to PM me and I'd have my investment people talk to him. HeHe!!!

We are thinking of planning a KW trip this fall. Sunkin should get us a house!!!:rofl::sifone::26:

At the other end of Duval I've never had a problem. Last year we stayed at Santa Maria suites. Nice place. Long walk to the waterfront though.

Staying at the Galleon, at the north end of the island, my balcony overlooks one of the turns and is right by the marina that hosts all of the poker run boats. And it's a very short walk to Duval! It's a pretty hard spot to beat.

Sounds like a former butcher shop that the band Damien used to rehearse in.
That was not one of my better gigs, looking back. :blush5:

http://www.myspace.com/damienlives06

I mixed and my PA company provided sound for Damien and opening band Uncleknucklefunk on the deck of the Willis B Boyer freighter for the 25th anniversary of the Shed. That load in svcked. The load out was worse. :(
