Minding my own business at the Marina this morning on the Mut and these guys come in with an Activator looking like they went through the wash!!!

My bet is they are the only ones who made it back this morning from KW.

That's John R., also known as John the Plumber. He runs the heck out of that thing and isn't afraid of big water! The boat is a tank and those Chiefs make some serious HP!

Saw that at the Glen Cove, LI poker run last year. The engines are sick! My mechanic picked up a 40 Activator last summer and just about has it ready...it should be an awesome boat as well....3 man bolster, triple blown small blocks(434CID).

David Ginfrida's 50 v Nor-Tech and Rod Weber's 43 Cat made it back with no problems as well yesterday, even with the 6-8s in the begining.

Nice Run last weekend...

And Stu was with the 47 fountain & 38 Cig, they got back fine also...

BUT most went home on trailers. Including King of Clubs. Kyle & I pulled it back to Grove Harbour Marina on Sunday. We watched two movies, stopped at the Fischer's new place in Key Largo, and had a great day!!

3 that come to mind The 41' Legend Marine boat based off an Apache, The Activator that you are discussing, and a 35' Fountain from Cali

John the Plumber is a regular up in NY and participates in the NYC poker run every year. His boat is just beautiful and runs flawlessly every time I see it. You have really got to see this one in person to appreciate it!

Thats John the only guy that came to the Atlantic City Poker Run by water in one of the worst water conditions known to man, But John being as dedicated as he is pushed his way 60 miles up the coast in 10-15 ft rollers. He is a true boater.

I had to look twice before I saw it. You see quite a few on those car/boats and the Mt Dora Antiqe Boat Show.

Note to self: Never name your boat the same as a well know performance boat. If you named yours first, it's better to change your name. :)

Just send me a PM anytime you want the dumb questions asked. I can take it. ;)

I have been actively reading these boards every day for almost nine years now and I can honestly say the only time I've seen the name "White Lightning" mentioned is in reference to the boat at LOTO.

Maybe I should pay better attention? :ack2:
