Usually I can hit about 60 and then I get too much wind and the vodka gets in peoples eyes, so we just pound them before we take off

Not sure, but at 50 + MPH we usually lose whomever was standing on the swim platform taking a whizz. :seeya:

And he drinks from a sippy cup anyways so what does it matter.

It depends on the water condition and which boat I'm in.

In the Marlin, I have to put the Floating Coozie on the drink at a rather slow, comparatively speaking, speed if the waves are any larger than 2'. Luckily, with the protection provided by the coozie, the drink may fall overboard, but it will float upright and if I'm lucky and return for retrieval soon enough, there will still be life in the can or bottle.

In the Scorpion it is somewhat faster and bigger waves are required before I wrap my drink. I am not nearly as prone to fearing for its life.

And in the BT, well, hasn't happened yet. Of course, you have to drink in it first with some major nasty water.....

Oh, get a windshield or hand out anti-vodka goggles with wipers....:sifone:

CC's have a lot of wind so we use sippy cups. What sucks is when the captain has to wander away from the helm since the ice bin is in the front of the console. BTW- A throw cushion between the throttles and the steering wheel will maintain course and speed most of the time...

I'm amazed that laminar airflow over the top of a Coors Light bigmouth can will suck the beer right out and all over the people in the back seat at around 65... Damned physics! I'll beat you yet! :D

we used to go skiing every evening before sunset because that was usually the only time the water calmed down enough. and every night, my friends dad would take us out behind his grady white cc with a Manhattan, and surprisingly it never spilled, no sippy cup, those boats are solid!

I like to play this game where I leave the boat in full throttle, jump up on the bow and then try to chug a beer standing up. It's so much fun, especially when you do it in front of blow boaters.

Man..you guys have got to get with the program!! Im a medic and an SRN.. you can aerosolize it, or better yet use a 20 guage in the forearm with a 1000 cc bag, set the drip rate around 30.
